Shams Abdulkhaleq is a qualified physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University, Canada. She brings a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation and a strong focus on restoring mobility, strength, and function.

Before joining Anatomy Rehab, Shams gained over two years of experience in private practice in Canada, where she treated patients with sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and post-operative orthopaedic surgeries. Working closely with orthopaedic surgeons, she contributed to the management of both upper and lower limb surgical cases, ensuring a seamless recovery process for every patient.

She has also supported athletes across sports such as football, American football, and hockey, helping them return to peak performance through structured rehabilitation and tailored exercise programs.

Shams has a particular interest in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion therapy, including the management of BPPV, vestibular neuritis, and post-concussion dizziness. Additionally, she provides treatment for workplace-related injuries, incorporating ergonomic assessments and preventative strategies to support long-term recovery.
