With a career spanning three continents and a passion for helping people move better, Nicolas brings a wealth of experience to every patient he treats. Originally from Mauritius and fluent in both English and French, he combines international expertise with a personal, patient-first approach.

Nicolas began his career in 2017 within the UK’s National Health Service, honing his skills in intensive care, major trauma, orthopaedic surgery, and sports injuries, while also providing pitch-side support for a Rugby Union team. A season in the French Alps expanded his knowledge of winter sports injuries and taught him to adapt quickly in high-pressure environments.

He later returned to Mauritius to work in one of the country’s leading private hospitals, covering both inpatient and outpatient care. Nicolas went on to run his own successful practice, treating a wide spectrum of patients — from post-surgery rehabilitation and neurological conditions to sports injury recovery for both the general population and elite athletes.

His sports coverage includes adolescent athlete care with RM Academy of Sports, semi-professional internationals at the Africa Sevens Rugby tournaments, world-class participants at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and passionate cyclists competing in the 2024 Le Cure de France charity challenge.

Expertise

Nicolas is trusted by professional athletes, weekend warriors, and the corporate community alike.

He specialises in:

  • Orthopaedic rehabilitation – guiding patients back to full function, strength, and confidence after surgery.

  • Sports injury management – from acute injuries to long-term recovery, ensuring a safe and effective return to play.

  • Everyday pain solutions – treating back and neck pain, joint problems, sprains, muscle strains, and neurological conditions.

Patient-Focused Care

Every treatment plan Nicolas creates is tailored to the individual — combining manual therapy and targeted exercise prescription within an evidence-based framework. He draws on a wide range of techniques, including patient education and postural advice, running gait assessments to optimise performance, dry needling and spinal manipulations to restore mobility, and sports massage or soft tissue release to aid recovery.

Each plan includes personalised exercise guidance to build long-term strength, resilience, and confidence. Nicolas addresses not only the injury but also the patient’s lifestyle, goals, and overall well-being — ensuring a faster, safer, and more sustainable recovery, whether you’re aiming to get back on the pitch, back to work, or back to pain-free living.

Culturally adaptable and internationally experienced, Nicolas delivers an approachable and professional service that helps patients feel confident, understood, and motivated to achieve their goals.
