Experience and History
Ranen graduated with a Masters degree in Chiropractic Medicine from Durban University of Technology in South Africa in 2016. On completing his initial training, his first professional role was a practice within a mixed martial arts gym, giving him a wealth of experience and knowledge of injuries and health concerns related to combat sports. A year later, in 2017, Ranen supplemented his training with an ICCSP (Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner) qualification, allowing him to provide excellence in sports injury management and return to sport protocol.
After relocating to Mauritius, Ranen furthered his expertise as part of an orthopaedic team, specialising in sport-related treatment and rehabilitation. With a particular interest in spinal and disc injuries and co-managing patients alongside other specialists, Ranen developed valuable skills that he utilises with our patients at Anatomy Rehab today. He then gained further experience as a consultant for the Mauritian Ministry of Youth Empowerment & Sport, including preparing their power-lifting team for the Indian Ocean Games in 2019.
In 2019, Ranen also received the prestigious title of Mauritian Chiropractic Association vice president. In 2021, he took his hard-earned knowledge and skill and relocated to the UAE, eventually finding his way to Dubai to seek new opportunities. In the past two years, he’s continued to gain experience with professional athletes in a range of niches, including professionals in Rugby, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Body Building, Strongman and Strongwomen competitions, and MMA.
